Welsh-Speaking Nursery Assistant
Location: Cardiff
School: Lovely Nursery School
Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay Rate - £13.08 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Are you a passionate and dedicated individual who loves working with children? Do you have a flair for languages and are fluent in Welsh and English? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at a wonderful Nursery School in Cardiff.
Role Overview: As a Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Welsh medium department in the mornings and the English side in the afternoons. Your hours will be from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, during term time. There may also be opportunities to work during school holidays in the holiday club.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Welsh medium department in the morning sessions.
* Assist in the English side during the afternoon sessions.
* Engage and nurture children in their early years, promoting their development and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Fluency in both Welsh and English.
* Experience working with children, preferably in an early years setting.
* A related qualification in childcare or education is desirable but not essential.
