Are you a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for a permanent, part-time position?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in York that benefits from a forest school provision, giving children opportunities to learn, explore and develop outdoors. The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can engage children through storytelling and create positive learning experiences.
The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children with their learning and development, including reading stories, planning engaging activities and helping to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Confidence reading stories and engaging groups of young children
• An enthusiastic approach to outdoor learning and forest school activities
• A caring, patient and adaptable approach
