Number 2 Print Assistant
Dagenham
£27,000 per annum
Point Recruitment is looking for a Number 2 Print Assistant for a manufacturing company based in Dagenham.
Number 2 Print Assistant Job Role:
* Ensuring correct job is on the machine
* To monitor and maintain quality of work produced.
* Make adjustments to maintain quality and output.
* To maintain optimum machine output speed.
* To keep the machine area in good order.
* To efficiently utilise any machine staff provided for you.
* To complete all documentation as required by ISO 9001.
* To pass on all relevant information to subsequent shifts.
* To report breakdowns or abnormalities immediately.
* To be fully conversant with all applicable Health & Safety procedures.
* To leave the machine in a safe and tidy condition.
* Give coaching and guidance where required.
* Ensure daily and monthly preventative maintenance is carried out and relative forms are completed.
Number 2 Print Assistant Hours:
The shift pattern is as follows.
* 6pm – 6am
* Week 1 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (4 NIGHTS OFF)
* Week 2 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (7 NIGHTS OFF)
* Week 3 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (4 NIGHTS OFF)
* Week 4 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (1 NIGHT OFF
Number 2 Print Assistant Skills Required:
* Needs to have the knowledge of KBA 106 with Coater and a Heidelberg 106 XL.
* Understanding of different paper types and how to handle them.
* Has to work closely with his No 1 and be able to take instruction.
