In this role, you will embark on a journey that's pivotal in strengthening various sectors within the United Kingdom. This includes nuclear decommissioning, power generation, new construction, and defence. Your contribution is the key to ensuring the growth, sustainability, and security of these essential industries, as well as addressing the nation's energy needs and infrastructure development.

Location:

Our client's office is strategically located in Cumbria, a renowned hub for engineering excellence. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to spend 3 days working in our clients well-equipped offices and the remaining days would be working from the comfort of your home.

Experience/Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Nuclear Experience: Ideally, hands-on experience in the nuclear industry, with a preference in prior exposure to nuclear projects.
Regulatory Expertise: Strong understanding of industry standards and guidelines, ensuring strict compliance.
Operational Research (OR) Modelling: Proficiency in OR modelling tools such as Simul8, Innov8, Witness, and Doors is highly advantageous.
Dangerous Substances & Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR): Familiarity with DSEAR regulations is a plus.Qualifications:

BEng/MEng: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
Chartered Chem Eng: Chartered status in Chemical Engineering is highly regarded but isnt essential.
UK Driving License: A valid UK driving license is necessary.
British Passport: You must possess a British passport.
Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
