Location: Bexhill, East Sussex
Pay: £18 - £19 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Duration: 8 Months
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced NRSWA Gateman to join a busy construction project in Bexhill. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure 8 months of work with an established contractor on a long-term project.
Gateman Duties:
Controlling access to and from the construction site.
Checking in visitors, deliveries and contractors.
Maintaining accurate site access records.
Ensuring only authorised personnel enter the site.
Assisting with the safe movement of vehicles entering and leaving the site.
Supporting the site team with maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
Working around street works and highway operations in line with NRSWA requirements.
Gateman Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card (essential).
Valid NRSWA qualification (essential).
Previous experience working as a Gateman on construction or highway projects.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to site safety.
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
Full PPE.
