Are you a Food Science graduate looking to begin a career in NPD or an existing NPD Technologist seeking a new challenge with a leading, branded food manufacturer?
We're looking for an NPD Technologist to join a successful innovation team responsible for developing and launching a range of branded products. You'll have the opportunity to gain experience of the full development process, working on NPD projects from concept through to launch.
Based at a well invested food manufacturing site, this NPD Technologist role is commutable from Preston, Blackburn, Greater Manchester, and surrounding areas.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior NPD Technologist, you'll be part of a team delivering innovation and product improvement projects. Some of the things you'll be doing will include:
Working collaboratively with commercial, marketing, operations, and technical teams to take products from initial brief through to factory trials and production.
Ensuring products are launched on time, within budget, and in line with business and customer expectations.
Maintaining product specifications, nutritional information, and project documentation.
Organising taste panels, sensory evaluations, and benchmarking activities to support development decisions.
Attending food fairs, exhibitions, and undertaking competitor analysis to identify trends and contribute to the innovation pipeline.About You:
Degree qualified in Food Science, Food Technologist, or a related discipline.
Previous NPD experience, gained through industry placements, internships, or a commercial food manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of food manufacturing processes and product development principles.
Able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with colleagues at all levels.
Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.Next Steps:
