About the NPD Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to support Senior NPD in producing food samples and maintain contact with customers and suppliers in the process from start to finish.
Key tasks
* Making product samples and tasting of product samples as well as sending produced samples to customers of suppliers for approval and prepare tasting panels for feedback, document accurate findings.
* Requesting raw material samples and flavours appropriate to the requirements from suppliers and liaise with customers, suppliers, and couriers.
* Request information for new raw materials and maintain the rotation of NPD lab raw materials as well as replenishment.
* Always maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the lab and office.
* Entering specifications accurately.
* Cover senior NPD in their absence.
About You
The successful candidate could be a food science graduate looking for their first role or alternatively a person without a degree but has relevant industry experience.
More details
The NPD Assistant job is based in Essex and is paying £24,000 to £26,000 per annum according to your experience.
The package includes Company Pension, annual leave of 16 days, Christmas four day closure plus bank holidays.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30am-16:30pm.
