NO.1 SITE MANAGER - FIT OUT PROJECT

Rate: Competitive day rate
We are currently seeking an experienced No.1 Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced commercial fit out project valued at approximately £100k. This is a 4 week contract commencing on 12th June 2026, and we are looking for a proactive and hands-on manager who can take full responsibility for site operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall day-to-day management of the site and workforce.
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades.
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings.
Maintaining site health & safety compliance and enforcing company procedures.
Managing RAMS, permits to work, and site documentation.
Liaising with the client, project team, and stakeholders.
Monitoring project progress and reporting on programme performance.
Managing material deliveries and site logistics.
Carrying out quality inspections and snagging activities.
Ensuring a clean, organised, and professional site environment at all times.
Essential Requirements:
Valid SMSTS certification.
Valid First Aid at Work qualification.
Proven experience managing commercial fit out projects as a No.1 Site Manager.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage programmes and drive works to completion.
Desirable:
Black CSCS Card.
Experience delivering fit-out projects within tight programmes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a short-term project with a competitive rate and the opportunity to deliver a successful fit-out scheme from commencement through to handover.
