Description:

HGV Technician – Night Shift – West Thurrock

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealer workshop in West Thurrock.
Applicants must hold a Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: West Thurrock, Essex
Salary: £62,400 basic (£30.00 per hour)
OTE: £70,000
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00pm – 6:30am | 40 hours per week
Overtime: Time and a half

Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
Complete repairs efficiently and to required quality standards
Work in line with workshop procedures and safety standards
Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
Ensure vehicles meet required safety and maintenance standards
Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshopHGV Technician Requirements
Level 3 HGV qualification or equivalent
Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician
Strong HGV servicing, maintenance and repair knowledge
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience using computer-aided diagnostic equipment
Full UK Driving Licence
Right to work in the UK
