FLT Reach Driver
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £14.36 per hour (£12.71 basic + £0.50 FLT allowance + £1.15 night shift premium)
Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 5:00pm – 2:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Reach Driver to join our busy warehouse team in Peterlee.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Reach Driver looking for a night shift position with competitive pay.
The Role
As an FLT Reach Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles and supporting general warehouse operations.
The role involves working in a cold warehouse environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in cooler temperatures.
Reach Truck experience is essential. Counterbalance experience and a valid Counterbalance licence are desirable.
Shift Pattern
Sunday to Thursday
5:00pm – 2:00am
Potential for extension depending on business requirements
Pay
£12.71 per hour basic rate
£0.50 per hour FLT allowance
£1.15 per hour night shift premium
£14.36 per hour total
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operating a Reach Forklift Truck
Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
Loading and unloading vehicles
Picking and positioning stock safely and accurately
Supporting general warehouse duties when required
Following all health and safety procedures
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Candidate Requirements
Valid Reach Truck FLT licence – essential
Previous Reach Truck experience – essential
Counterbalance experience/licence – desirable
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Comfortable working in a cold environment
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work effectively as part of a team
