About The Role

Night Support Worker, Maes Y Coed, Pembroke Dock. £11.60 to £12.00 dependent on experience. 35 hours per week.

**This role requires a drivers license**

We’re a leading organisation dedicated to provide exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.
 
Maes Y Coed is our latest home in the Pembrokeshire area based near Pembroke Dock. Our Maes Y Coed home is a welcoming home comprising of four individual flats situated on the grounds of its sister service, Bangeston Hall. Maes Y Coed takes pride in its commitment to providing personalise care packages that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident. We are looking forward to opening and welcoming our individuals to their new home.

A typical day in the life of working at Maes Y Coed may include:

Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment;
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration;
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones;
Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs;
Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise;
General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation; Sound good so far? We are looking for people who care and have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships;
Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs;
A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team;
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes;
Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts; Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
