Job Title: Night Shunter / Cleaner / Fueller

Location: Reading Buses Depot, Great Knollys Street, Reading, RG1 7HH

Salary: £15.52 per hour (£590 per week)

Job Type: Full time, Permanent, 38 hours per week. 5 days out of 7 days, 17:45 to 01:21.

The Role:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our Night Team as a full-time Night Shunter / Cleaner / Fueller. This role is essential in ensuring our buses are cleaned, fuelled and prepared to provide safe and reliable services for our customers every day.

Key responsibilities include:

Clean bus interiors and ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard.
Sweep, mop, and carry out general cleaning duties within vehicles.
Refuel buses at the end of service.
Move and park vehicles safely around the depot.
Carry out basic vehicle preparation tasks as required.
Comply with all company health, safety, and operational procedures.
Support colleagues in maintaining a safe and efficient depot environment.What we're looking for:

Essential;

A strong work ethic and a reliable approach.
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Ability to undertake physical work in a busy operational environment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A full UK Driving Licence.Desirable;

A PCV licence.
Experience driving large vehicles.
Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, transport operations, logistics or similar environments is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.Why Join Reading Buses?
