Details of a Night Shift Supervisor

Salary: £36k + £1.50ph shift allowance

Location: Northampton

Duration: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Hours: Night Shift 20:00 - 04:00

Role of a Night Shift Supervisor

Responsible for ensuring works orders are completed and delivered on time to specifications.
Ensuring the teams KPIs and objectives are being met.
Operating the robot welding machine if errors or problems occur
Support the development of direct reports, by acting as a mentor and supporting continuous improvement activities.
To ensure a quality culture throughout the manufacturing processes by actively facilitating collaboration between departments and continuous improvement.
Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising quality, product safety or integrity.
Proactively suggesting new methods and techniques to improve efficiency.
Ensure those working in the plant operational areas follow the Company / industry standard health and safety guidelines

Requirements for a Night Shift Supervisor

Solid experience in Operations or Production management in a Manufacturing environment
Experience with robot welding machines
Experience with people management including coaching / mentoring, appraisal, training and capability/disciplinary procedures.
Strong leadership skills
Capable of working under-pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and AX
