Night Shift Manager
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000K Basic
Hours: 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Manager to join our client's dynamic team in the Hemel Hempstead area. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the warehousing operation for the shift, ensuring the effective and accurate sortation of goods.
- Oversee and manage the night shift operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with company policies in a safe and proactive manner.
- Manage costs and performance of the shift, driving productivity and efficiency.
- Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service.
- Implement and monitor health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Effective management of performance, conduct, absence, engagement, and training and development of team members, holding people accountable to agreed departmental and company standards.
- Monitor KPIs, identify and communicate associated actions, and highlight areas for improvement.
- Provide a shift summary and handover record with any exceptions detailed and actioned.
- Ensure effective handovers and reporting to day staff, maintaining seamless communication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in man-management within any industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work night shifts from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
