Description:
We are recruiting for a leading and prestigious Food Service Company based in Downham Market, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Night Shift Loader to start asap.
Reporting directly to Supervisor/Shift Manager
Hours & Shifts
11pm till finish usually around 6am
Sunday to Thursday
Ongoing work potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.
Pay rate is £13.58 an hour.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Loading 3.5-ton vans with fresh produce for the Van drivers to deliver the next day.
To ensure that you are responsible for and comply with all Health and Safety legislation - advising your manager of deviations from this or potential deviations which you feel may occur.
Note: This list is not exhaustive, and you will be required to undertake any additional tasks, training and/or development activity as directed by the company from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
Knowledge, skills, and experience required:
Good communication skills
Work in a team
Able to lift up to 25 kilos.
Ability to liaise effectively with managers and staff at all levels.
Able to read and write in English.
Some practical understanding and awareness of operational activities within a food environment.
Ability and willingness to continue to be trained to higher standards and in new areas of legislation as appropriate
