About the Role
Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors and contractors, ensuring they feel secure and well-directed
Efficiently handle the processing and issuance of ID cards to authorised personnel, maintaining a high level of accuracy and security
Accompany contractors throughout the premises, ensuring they adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Vigilantly monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities, ensuring continuous surveillance of the premises
Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible security presence, deterring potential security breaches and ensuring all areas are secure
Keep detailed and precise records of all events and incidents, providing thorough documentation for future reference and reporting
Essential Skills
SIA Licence
Access to vehicle/good transport links
2yrs Corporate Security experience preferred
A firm grasp of English, both Written and Spoken
Excellent Customer Service Skills
IT literate
Able to work in a team
A flexible approach
A full 5 year, traceable, UK employment history
As the client is a UK Defence Contractor, all candidates must have UK / Dual citizenship and be screened by the UK Security Vetting Service to SC standard
Candidates must be able to travel to the site in Edinburgh for a 6pm start, including on Public Holidays
