Description:
Our client is looking for a night porter for their prestigious hotel located in Inverness.
As the first point of contact for late arrivals or guests returning from an evening out you will be required to check in guests, serve drinks and reset the hotel for the next day.
General job duties include:
- To carry out patrols of the hotel during a shift.
- To ensure the hotel areas are locked and secured for the night
- To prepare and serve drinks as required
- To ensure that the restaurant, bars and other consumption areas are thoroughly clean and set and ready for service
- To act as fire marshal and to be totally aware of the hotel evacuation plan
- Ensure corridors are kept tidy and free from obstruction and all fire doors are closed.
- To check guests in and out as required.
- To be a role model for all staff in appearance and deliverance of customer service.
Reliability and experience in a similar role are essential
