Night Maintenance Engineer
Wymondham, Norfolk
£42,000 per annum
Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Night Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing company based in Wymondham, Norfolk.
As the Night Maintenance Engineer you will be delivering comprehensive support in Preventative, Corrective, and Reactive maintenance to the operations team. You will also be facilitating seamless management of the auto-fulfilment site assets.
The company will consider a candidate who comes from any type of maintenance role, including electricians, mechanical and electrical fitters, assembly operatives, or even a car mechanic.
Job Role:
* Monitor shift throughput, downtime and efficiencies
* Identify and eliminate breakdown time proactively by using continuous improvement methodologies
* Maintenance of a safe and environmentally aware working environment which is fully compliant with all Health, Safety and Environmental obligations.
* Lead the drive for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service execution
* Provide timely and consistent communication, issue resolution, and issue investigation to external and internal clients/account management teams as required
* Have the ability to deal with client issues quickly and effectively, seeking assistance when required
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients providing assistance and advice as and when required
* Monitor equipment/operators’ performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Hours:
* Shift Pattern 12 Hour Nights:
* Nights: Week 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, contracted hours, working 7.00pm to 7.00am, working 11 hours per shift.
* Week 2 – Monday and Tuesday, working 7.00pm to 7.00am, working 11 hours per shift.
Experience Needed:
* Any type of maintenance experience, including electricians, mechanical and electrical fitters, assembly operatives, or even a car mechanic.
* Previously carried out maintenance in a fast paced production environment is a distinct advantage
