#### Location: Preston
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Night Loader to join a team in Preston. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal English skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to demonstrate reliability with three references.
**Position: Night Loader**
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Shunting wagons and loading, requiring the ability to drive a wagon.
- Reading tickets, keeping records, and ensuring the correct product is loaded into the correct wagon compartment.
- Working in a fast-paced environment with numerous wagons to load, potentially revisiting the same wagon multiple times.
- Prioritising health and safety at all times.
- Cleaning bulk out loading bays throughout the night and ensuring they are tidy for morning drivers.
- Maintaining cleanliness of yard areas and above bulk out loading bays.
- Handling rework and putting the product down the intake.
- Performing computer tasks, including using a bag label printer.
- Working in a dusty and noisy environment, with PPE provided.
**Working Hours:**
- Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Some weekend overtime required, usually on Sundays, to ensure readiness for Monday mornings.
- Overtime paid.
**Requirements:**
- Forklift licence.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate accurately with the day team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work conditions.
Class 2 Wagon Licence preferable
**Salary:**
- £30,000 per annum plus overtime.
