NHS Key Account Manager, South London, Surrey & Sussex
£60,000–£70,000 Basic + Car Allowance + Bonus + Private Healthcare
Are you an experienced NHS Key Account Manager, Territory Manager or Area Sales Manager looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting exclusively for a growing healthcare business with a strong UK presence, international backing and an established portfolio of specialist healthcare products.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a well-established NHS territory, developing existing accounts whilst identifying new commercial opportunities across South London, Surrey and Sussex.
If you enjoy building long-term NHS relationships, managing a large geographical territory and driving sales growth through strategic account management, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a large NHS territory covering South London, Surrey and Sussex.
Working across a diverse product portfolio, you'll be responsible for developing key customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and delivering commercial success across your region.
This is a highly autonomous field-based role where strong planning, organisation and account management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow NHS accounts across South London, Surrey and Sussex.
* Build relationships with hospitals, procurement teams, pharmacy, clinicians, ICBs and other NHS stakeholders.
* Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans.
* Identify opportunities to grow existing business whilst winning new accounts.
* Deliver product presentations and commercial discussions with healthcare professionals.
* Manage a large geographical territory, prioritising activity to maximise commercial performance.
* Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth.
* Achieve and exceed agreed sales objectives.
What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
* A successful track record in pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare sales.
* Experience managing NHS accounts and developing long-term customer relationships.
* Experience covering a large geographical territory.
* Strong account planning and territory management skills.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
* ABPI qualification preferred.
* Experience within hospital or specialist healthcare markets would be advantageous.
