Description:
Responsibilities:
* Install and refurbish AIS/GIS switchgear and associated P&C panels.
* Maintain and repair LVAC boards, SCS systems, and PRR’s.
* Conduct electrical works on blockhouses, marshalling kiosks, and supplies pillars.
* Implement telecommunication and battery board installations.
* Service transformers, shunt reactors, circuit breakers, disconnectors, earth switches, CT’s, VT’s, and CVT’s.

Qualifications and Authorizations:
* Valid National Grid Person Authorisation is essential.
* Proven experience in electrical installation and refurbishment in high-voltage environments.
* Familiarity with National Grid safety rules and operational procedures.
*
Skills:
* Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
* Commitment to safety and quality standards.
*
Experience:
* Extensive experience as a Wireman in the energy sector.
* Hands-on experience with AIS/GIS switchgear, P&C panels, and other substation equipment
