Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join an established infrastructure business in Hertfordshire, taking ownership of Health and Safety data, reporting and Power BI dashboards.

This is a hands on data role where you will bring together information from across the business and turn it into clear, meaningful insight. From workforce training and compliance through to positive interventions and wider Health and Safety performance, you will help give the business a clear picture of what is happening, where the trends are and where action may be required.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports

• Managing Health and Safety performance data from across the business

• Reporting on training completed, outstanding and upcoming requirements

• Monitoring positive interventions and wider compliance information

• Analysing data to identify trends, risks and areas requiring attention

• Bringing together data from multiple sources

• Ensuring reporting is accurate, current and meaningful

• Presenting information clearly to management and Health and Safety teams

• Helping improve how data is captured, analysed and reported across the business

About You

Strong Power BI experience is essential.

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar

• Strong Power BI skills with experience building and maintaining dashboards

• Experience analysing large and varied data sets

• Strong Excel skills

• The ability to identify trends and turn data into meaningful insight

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business

Previous experience working with Health and Safety, compliance, construction or infrastructure data would be advantageous but is not essential.
