Boasting significant growth in recent years, we're expanding our horizons even further by venturing into new territories. To complement our existing services and fortify our position in the market, we're launching a dedicated Business Development team focused on Commercial Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Facilities Management (FM) sectors. This strategic initiative aligns with our commitment to delivering exceptional service and driving exponential growth in revenue.

Position Overview:
We're seeking a proactive Business Development Manager specializing in Commercial M&E and FM to spearhead our expansion efforts. In this role, you'll be instrumental in identifying lucrative opportunities, nurturing relationships, and closing deals within these burgeoning sectors. Working in tandem with our Client Relationship Team, you'll leverage our expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic plan outlining short-, medium-, and long-term goals for the Business Development M&E department.

Articulate the value proposition of our services to existing clients and prospects within the M&E and FM sectors.

Conduct regular client-facing meetings, update CRM with interactions, and focus on driving deal closures.

Identify avenues for expanding our customer base in the M&E and FM markets.

Establish clear KPIs and employ effective tactics for achieving them, including cross-selling and upselling techniques.

Navigate customer inquiries, objections, and negotiations to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Provide leadership in the growth and development of the department, identifying opportunities for expansion.

Collaborate with the Client Relationship Team to optimize client engagement and retention strategies.

Utilize performance metrics and industry insights to inform decision-making and drive results.

Secure Framework Agreements and Contracts by pursuing new opportunities and negotiating favourable terms.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven track record in business development, account management, and portfolio growth.
Strong understanding of the M&E and FM sectors, with established networks and relationships.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies.

Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and leveraging LinkedIn for business

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel as required.

Experience in setting and achieving ambitious revenue targets and KPIs.

Effective time management and task prioritisation skills.

Motivated self-starter with a passion for driving growth and delivering results.

Previous experience in handling tendered works and framework agreements (preferred).
