Network Support Engineer / Network Engineer / IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician / Technical Support Engineer required to join a manufacturer based in Wellingborough.
The Network Engineer / Network Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer / Technical Support Engineer will join a growing, global manufacturer with the opportunity to work with international colleagues & sites on projects, improvements and maintenance.
The successful Network Support Engineer must be a reasonable commute to Wellingborough.
The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and networking (LAN, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN)
Package:
Up to £38,000 plus bonus

Network Support Engineer / Network Engineer / IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician / Technical Support Engineer Role:
Maintenance of the LAN network, servers, storage, backup and improving the infrastructure Supporting the IT department with service desk tickets. Working and maintaining switches, cabling and wireless access points Dealing with firewall configuration with the global IT team and suppliers Provide 2nd line support for three Scandinavian locations Maintenance of WAN, mobile phone connections and IP telephony. Update and maintain relevant documents for all networking, telephony and communication solutions. Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:15, Friday 08:30 – 13:00 Flexible hybrid working, office is based in Wellingborough
Network Engineer / Network Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician / Technical Support Engineer Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Support Technician / IT Support Engineer / Networking Support Engineer or similar. Any IT relevant qualifications. Experience with LAN networking Working knowledge of DHCP, TCP/IP, VLAN and switches Experience working with network protocols and firewalls Excellent troubleshooting skills Flexible working, office is based in Wellingborough, need to be within a commutable distance.

A relevant networking qualification in would be an advantage (CCNA or ACSA) Network automation and monitoring tools experience
