Network Architect
Ipswich (Hybrid working)
6 month contract
£475pd Inside IR35
Datacenter Networking – Data centre infrastructure technologies, including firewalls, operating systems, switches, server pods, virtualization platforms (including Kubernetes), and security technologies.
Infrastructure Design
The purpose of this role is to work on the Network Protect projects alongside the System Designers and specifically the logical network designs for vendor kit and migrations. This role is expected to need access to secure data. This is a high-level role where the individual will be trusted to understand the architecture and make the right decisions within the designs they produce. This is a design role with a heavy network focus.
The role involves defining the components and services that make up the technology environment, their connections, interrelationships, and operating parameters to ensure infrastructure solutions support current and future business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed infrastructure design specifications and diagrams.
* Ensure compatibility and integration between different infrastructure components.
* Design infrastructure for scalability, performance, reliability, and security from the outset.
* Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure design with business objectives.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of the design process and decisions.
* Integrate cloud services into the infrastructure design
