Description:

Space: The final frontier.
SpaceX has launched 345 rockets and 279 reflights, and Starlink has 5,900 working satellites in orbit.
Since Carl Benz birthed the first car 138 years ago, the pace of innovation has been frightening, and we’re lucky enough to have a front-row seat as technology constantly rewrites history.
But every breakthrough comes with risks, like failed launches, and insurance allows us to break new boundaries.
Insurance also protects societies from climate change damage, cyber warfare, and disasters like the collapse of the Baltimore Bridge, which will be the most expensive ship collision ever.
The insurance coverage will range between $2 and $4 billion.
It's a bit cooler than what you see on Compare the Market ads, eh?
In 2020, this 1,000-person consultancy, which covers pensions, football, energy, and insurance, launched a new insurance product that combined machine learning with cutting-edge analytics for the first time.
Four years later, companies like Lloyds of London and the Bank of England described it as ‘gold dust’ because of its insights and ability to help them make better decisions within seconds about insuring complex situations like the above.
The potential is clear, and there is a queue of massive global insurers at the door, but there aren’t enough great .NET Developers on their five-person team, which is where you come in.
You’ll mainly develop backend .NET applications using Azure services like Functions, DevOps, Cosmos DB, and Blob Storage with initial projects like integrating LLMs into the product and helping it grow.
They’ll support your ideas, give you freedom in working and setting priorities, and you can choose to interact with clients on cool projects.
The team will grow, and you can shape your career however you like, which could be getting involved on the data science, machine learning and Python side or simply moving up – There are many paths and a key reason why their people often stay there 10-20 years and beyond.
You'll enjoy a 35-hour working week and a benefits package reflecting the level of fairness and care this company is known for.
Lastly, inclusivity is more than just a PR soundbite. For example, they achieved 13 DEI awards in the last five years and their LGBT+, women's, multicultural and well-being networks tackle significant issues and unite their people.
* Role – .NET Developer (Mid-to-senior level)

* Work Location – Hybrid – Twice a week in Central London.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
This role will suit a mid-to-senior level backend-focused .NET developer with some Azure experience (Ideally one or more of – Functions, DevOps, Cosmos DB or Blob Storage)
You’re driven and analytical and thrive on solving challenging problems.
