Description:
We are currently seeking a competent Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be part of our quality control team, supporting fabrication and welding operations in the manufacturing and remanufacturing of standard connector products and capital drilling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform manual ultrasonic testing (MUT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) of welds in pipe and plate.
* Support the quality control team in fabrication and welding operations.
* Understand and adhere to HSE and QA requirements within our engineering organization.
Qualifications:
* Competent in MUT, MPI, and LPI.
* Certification in MUT of tees, nodes, and nozzles is advantageous.
* Experience in MUT of forgings or visual testing (VT) of welds and forgings is preferred but not essential.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of HSE and QA requirements within an engineering organisation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
