Level 2 NDT Inspector 

Location: Bristol

Shift : 37 hours per week, Mon – Thu 07:30 – 16:00 and Fri 07:30 – 12:30

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

My market-leading engineering client is looking for a Level 2 NDT Inspector to join their growing team in Bristol.

The successful candidate for the role of NDT Inspector will be responsible for processing and inspecting components using Non Destructive Testing (NDT) by dye penetrant immersion and magnetic flaw detection processes to ensure component parts conform to drawing and process requirements with no cracks or defects.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Working to the production schedule, processing a wide variety of complex aerospace components safely and efficiently. 
Carrying out control checks of the NDT line on a weekly basis. 
Maintaining detailed, auditable records of inspections carried out and the results. 
Raising and completing internal reject notes with clear details of the failure reason, with reference to the applicable specification and quality acceptance standard (QAS). 
Cleaning and organising the NDT inspection department, ensuring the area is safe, FOD free and effectively arranged for optimal workflow management. 
You may be required to work alternative shifts / hours 
You may be required to perform any other reasonable duties/specific projects from time to time and as directed by management.
Qualifications and Experience Required:

Dye penetrant NDT experience with documented supervised training hours from a certified Level II/III. 
Precision Engineering experience 
Ability to check components for defects 
Good understanding of quality control procedures 
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Level II NDT Qualified 
Aerospace Experience 
Rolls Royce QAS knowledge and RRP58003 experience 
EN4179 / NAS410 qualification 
Magnetic Flaw Detection Experienc
