We are recruiting a National Installation Engineer for our client who are a leading diagnostic solutions and medical equipment provider. This role is field based, but you will need to be within a 45 min commute of Milton Keynes and travel will be across the UK and Ireland and international travel for training for the first few weeks.

The National Installation Engineer is responsible for the assembly, configuration, quality assurance, and installation of automated equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the role supports the end-to-end installation process, from pre-build activities through to commissioning at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out pre-installation activities within agreed timelines, including building modules and conveyor systems, completing sensitivity calibrations, and configuring IT systems.

* Prepare equipment for dispatch to customer sites.

* Complete equipment installations at customer locations within specified timescales.

* Maintain effective communication with customers, providing updates throughout all stages of the installation process.

* Complete end-to-end quality assurance checks and processes.

* Accurately complete all required administrative tasks via the service portal.

* Support Field Service teams when required with planned maintenance inspections, corrective actions, and other technical campaigns.

* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality, health and safety, and customer service standards.

Essential Requirements:

* This national role involves travel throughout UK and Ireland, with pre-builds taking place at the Milton Keynes head office.

* Able to travel across Europe and the Middle East to complete company training.

* Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent.

* Experience of pre-builds or installations and able to carry out fault finding when required.

* Able to demonstrate a good standard of mechanical/technical knowledge.

* Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.

* Experience of reading and understanding technical diagrams.

* HND (HNC with relevant experience) or equivalent in electronic and mechanical engineering (desirable)

* Technical training on Haematology related instrumentation. (desirable)
