Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive, technically confident Lighting Business Development Manager to grow our Lighting Design category across a defined territory. You’ll win new category business, nurture key customer relationships and hand over projects to our design team for ongoing management.

Build and own a strong sales pipeline for your designated geographical area using market insight and customer engagement.
Target existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
Present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business.
Promote our own benefits for Lighting Design solutions.
Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption.

Qualifications

Experience in the Lighting Designs arena and a working knowledge of Lighting Design software.
Confident to talk to customer partners about Rexels offer plan and value add services.
Strong technical understanding of Lighting products and installation requirements.
Proven experience developing a sales pipeline and achieving area sales targets.
Commercially focused with experience of managing CPM and supplier relationships.
Confident presenter and communicator with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.
Self-motivated, organised and able to work collaboratively with branch networks and cross-functional teams.
