We are seeking a National Accounts Technical Manager to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation, UK!

The Role

* The National Accounts Department is experiencing rapid growth within the company, with a significant expansion of the Account Base following the pandemic. As our existing accounts undergo development for a broader range of project and service offerings by our internal sales teams and account managers, we are observing increasing customer demands for comprehensive solutions, particularly in BMS and Renewable Generation, to aid them in reaching their Net Zero targets.

* The Technical Manager will possess the ability to comprehend BMS and net zero services, products, and solutions, and will interact with internal and external stakeholders as necessary. The primary focus of the role will involve providing support and output documentation for BMS and net zero solutions.

* Candidates should demonstrate the capability to quickly grasp and assimilate new technical solutions, manipulate data effectively, and articulate relevant information to their client portfolio. Ideally, they will also have experience across various aspects of the energy services industry.

The ideal candidate will:

* Promote and sell the brand's offerings while understanding all sales propositions thoroughly.

* Develop new relationships with relevant industry stakeholders through technical presentations on integrated systems and building management products.

* Prepare quotations based on site surveys and technical specifications for projects.

* Provide timely updates, monthly sales activity reports, and order forecasts to the Manager.

* Maintain a customer-centric approach, consistently delivering outstanding service with a positive and proactive attitude.

* Continuously seek ways to improve business performance.

* Foster long-term relationships with existing and new contacts to address additional requirements.

Relationship Management

* Build strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Promote an environment of excellent satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

* Generate required reports for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

* Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to the company's best interests.

* Collaborate with specialists in relevant disciplines to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

* Ideally possess a minimum of three years’ experience in the BMS industry.

* In-depth product knowledge of estimating, bid management, and Building Management Systems is preferred.

* Familiarity with the region and existing relationships with relevant parties is advantageous.

* Proficient in customer service, both verbal and written.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and in-house management database and financial systems.

Due to the nature of this role, you must possess a full UK driving licence.
