Job Title: National Account Manager

Salary: Circa £60,000 + up to £8,000 Car Allowance
Contract: Permanent, Days Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 weekend on supply cover

Must be flexible to travel between their site in East Riding of Yorkshire and another in North Yorkshire

The role

Reporting to the National Account Controller, you will manage and be responsible for a very large retail account working with a variety of chilled foods.

This will involve working well cross functionally with the commercial department and the NPD team.

This is a fantastic and an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys being hands on, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has a great eye for detail, as well as having the desire and determination to assist with the future plans of this growing business and join a team of fun and talented individuals within the sales and marketing division.

The person

It is essential you have 2-3 years experience in account management and will have experience working in the food manufacturing industry, with the understanding of sales, marketing, and NPD processes, strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills. A strong level of detail in product costing would be to your advantage.

Benefits: Car allowance dependant on experience £5,000 - £8,000 per year

Schedule:

* Monday to Friday 8-5 (1 hour for lunch)

* 1 in 4 weekends on supply cover

Education:

* A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

* Account management: 2 years (required)

* Experience in a commercial role 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

* East Riding of Yorkshire (required)

* North Yorkshire (required)
