Shift: Monday to Friday – Hybrid role (up to 2-3 days on site)
Our client are currently recruiting for a driven and ambitious National Account Executive to support our commercial teams through a period of growth.
They produce own label biscuits to all the major retailers including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, and Lidl in addition to the client’s brand.
2023 was an amazing year for the company. There has been significant investment into the site and operations, and the business have secured new customers and are positioned to make 2024 their best year ever.
About The Role:
Reporting into National Account Manager, that National Account Executive will play a crucial role in support our commercial growth as a business. The position will be responsible for supporting the commercial team in achieving sales and profit growth through cross functional working and management of key projects and information provision aligned with our customers.
The National Account Executive will be expected to liaise with all our teams as well as supporting our customers through a variety of internal and external sales platforms. This role will offer an opportunity to gain a solid foundation and well-rounded view of the FMCG commercial environment.
Forecasting, price file management and customer service support will be key in this role as well as support the business with customer relationship building through existing projects and new product launches.
This will be a busy and rewarding role where no two days will be the same. It will require the drive to hit and excel targets, provide the best service possible to our customers and the organisational skills to handle multiple ongoing projects.
About You:
To excel in this National Account Executive role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Demonstrable sales experience at a similar level, ideally within Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
* Excellent customer facing and stakeholder management skills.
* The confidence to support senior management internally and externally.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* A good understanding of IT, data handling and presentation tools.
* Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills.
* The ability to work under pressure; prioritise demands, managing internal & customer expectations.
