Music Teacher Job Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students across various year groups.
Foster a love for music through creative and interactive teaching methods.
Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs and interests of all students.
Organize and lead extracurricular music activities such as choirs, bands, or orchestras.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular opportunities and events.
Music Teacher Job Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to promoting the well-being and safeguarding of students.
Experience in teaching music within a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential.
