Description:

As a Music Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to inspire and nurture the musical talents of students in one of the world's most culturally rich cities. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education that engages students and fosters a lifelong appreciation for music. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for music education, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to helping students achieve their musical goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging music lessons tailored to students' interests, abilities, and learning styles
Teach fundamental music concepts, techniques, and skills across various musical genres and styles
Provide instruction in music theory, composition, performance, and music technology.
Facilitate ensemble rehearsals and performances, including choirs, bands, orchestras, and chamber groups.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
Assess student progress through performance evaluations, auditions, and examinations.
Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate music events, festivals, and workshops.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress, achievements, and opportunities.

Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
Proven experience teaching music at the primary or secondary school level
Proficiency in at least one instrument and/or voice, with a strong foundation in music theory and pedagogy
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Passion for music education and a commitment to fostering students' musical growth and development.
