Music Teacher (Drums) needed in Solihull
Are you an enthusiastic Music Teacher who believes music can transform confidence, behaviour and wellbeing? Do you enjoy inspiring young people through creativity and performance?
Join our agency team and work in a welcoming Alternative Provision supporting students aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, ASD, attachment disorders and behavioural needs.
Location: Solihull
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing, with potential for permanent placement

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a nurturing Alternative Provision where creativity is used to engage, motivate and inspire learners.
As the Music Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons that develop practical musical skills while encouraging confidence, teamwork and self-expression. Drumming experience is preferred, as percussion plays an important role in the school's music provision, although applicants with broader musical experience are encouraged to apply.
You'll create an inclusive environment where students can experience success, develop resilience and express themselves positively through music.

What We're Looking For:
* Preferably QTS or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Drumming or percussion experience preferred
* Ability to inspire and engage students with diverse learning needs
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A flexible, positive and resilient approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience delivering practical music performance
* Experience within an Alternative Provision or specialist setting
* Knowledge of music technology or recording
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice
