Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Rochdale to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher for a September 2026 start. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school with an outstanding senior leadership team and a strong commitment to the arts.The school is seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that develop musical skills, confidence and performance abilities.
Your new role
Teach Music across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
Encourage participation in musical performances, clubs and extracurricular activities.
Monitor progress and support students in achieving their full potential.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
Passion for music education and student achievement.
Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.What you'll get in return
