An excellent opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Music to join a thriving secondary school in Rugby from the new term.

The school is seeking an inspiring educator who is passionate about music and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation of music. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and forward-thinking department that encourages students to develop their musical talents both within the classroom and through a vibrant extracurricular programme.

This role includes teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate, depending on experience and departmental requirements.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Have a degree in Music or a closely related subject.
Be an effective classroom practitioner with experience teaching Music in a secondary school.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for music education.
Deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes and raising student attainment.
Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
Be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school through choirs, ensembles, concerts, productions, and other extracurricular activities.
