About the opportunity:
A diverse secondary school in Stoke Poges is looking for a passionate Music Teacher seeking a fresh challenge. They are looking for an individual who is passionate about shaping the minds of young learners within a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a safe working environment which supports learning and in which children feel secure and confident
Set high expectations for children’s behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline through well-focussed teaching and positive and productive relationships
Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge
Assess how well learning objectives have been achieved and use them to improve specific aspects of teaching
Mark and monitor children’s work regularly and set targets for progress
Fulfil the requirements of the school’s Assessment Policy
Requirements:
Proven experience in successful teaching within a relevant educational setting.
Possession of a current valid DBS check or the willingness to obtain one.
Hold QTS / PGCE or equivalent qualifications (Unqualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply).
Possess a positive and enthusiastic approach to education.
