Music Teacher Needed – Great Missenden
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
Supply Desk are looking to place a Music Teacher in the area of Great Missenden who has a passion for teaching and is able to motivate a classroom to learn. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher inspire students through the power of music.
To be successful you must:
Have previous experience working in a school environment
Have an updated DBS (this can be arranged if not up-to-date)
Be open to different year groups
Be confident meeting new people and working in different environments
Have a strong work ethic and a passion for teaching
Have good behaviour management
Good knowledge of the Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 curriculum within Music
Your role:
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to students.
Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that meets educational standards.
Teach a variety of music subjects including music theory, instrumental skills, vocal training, and music history.
Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations.
Organise and lead school music events, concerts, and extracurricular activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
