Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 including GCSE.

* Foster a love of music and creativity in students of all abilities.

* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.

* Organize and lead extra-curricular music activities, including choirs, bands, and school performances.

* Support students in their personal and academic growth, contributing to a positive school culture.

* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music curriculum and share best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

* A degree in Music or a related field.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.

* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a dedicated team.

* Resilience and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
