MTrec Recruitment are representing our prestigious client in their search for an experienced, multi-skilled Maintenance Technician.

The role will support the site by maintaining and repairing business-critical equipment and would be well suited to those with a background in manufacturing/ engineering.

The role is working a 2-shift pattern, 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.

The Job you will do:

* Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

* Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems.

* Interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

* Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and safety inspections.

* Collaborate with team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.

* Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

About you:

* You will be a time-served engineer with at least a level 3 BTEC in engineering or a related discipline. (Electrical Bias preferred but not essential)

* Previous experience working within busy manufacturing, production or engineering settings is essential.

* Ideally, you will have experience on equipment such as motors, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

* An 18th edition would be an advantage but is not essential.

* Proficiency in the maintenance of electrical systems.

* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

* Flexibility needed around working hours, shift work, and occasional weekend work
