Maintenance Engineer
Location: Outskirts of Thetford
Salary: Competitive, £47,500 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, rotating AM/PM shifts
 
Are you a skilled engineer seeking a dynamic role with a company dedicated to excellence in production? Join our client's team on the outskirts of Thetford as a Multiskilled Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of their production facility. Your expertise will be key in upholding high production standards, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Proactive Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize your extensive mechanical, electrical, and automation knowledge to diagnose and effectively troubleshoot issues.
Swift Repairs: Conduct timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the production team to identify areas for improvement and actively contribute to ongoing initiatives.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records, including work orders, equipment history, and parts inventory.  
Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Engineering Proficiency: Qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience as a Multiskilled Engineer, preferably in the food manufacturing or a related industry.
Technical Acumen: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts and respond to on-call requests.
