Description:

Multiskilled Engineer | £58,830 | 4 On / 4 Off

Lincolnshire | Food Manufacturing | Days & Nights

£58,830 + benefits

Are you a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a well-paid 4-on/4-off role within a large, highly automated food manufacturing site?

We're recruiting for an established food manufacturer in Lincolnshire with significant ongoing investment in people, equipment and engineering infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work across production and packaging equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement.

The Shift

4 Days On | 4 Days Off | 4 Nights On | 4 Days Off

Days: 05:30-17:30
Nights: 17:30-05:30

A structured continental shift pattern giving you substantial time away from work between rotations.

The Role

You'll help keep a high-output manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reactive and planned maintenance

Electrical and mechanical fault finding

Breakdown response and fault diagnosis

Preventative maintenance and root cause analysis

Supporting continuous improvement projects

Identifying and reducing repeat failures

Working closely with production to minimise downtime

Improving equipment reliability and performance

Maintaining high standards of engineering and site safety

You'll work across a varied range of manufacturing and packaging equipment, so this is a good fit for an engineer who enjoys technical variety rather than doing the same repair every shift.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a time-served Multiskilled Engineer or someone with a recognised engineering qualification and strong practical experience.

You'll ideally have:

Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience

Industrial fault-finding experience

Experience with automated production or packaging equipment

Experience within FMCG, food, manufacturing, packaging or a similar environment

Planned and reactive maintenance experience

A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced production environment

An apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification would be advantageous.

What's On Offer?

£58,830 salary

4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 days off

05:30-17:30 / 17:30-05:30

Stable, permanent opportunity

Major food manufacturing business

Significant investment in engineering and site infrastructure

Ongoing training and development

Genuine opportunities for career progression

Why This Role?

This is more than a breakdown-and-repair position.

You'll have the opportunity to get involved in reliability, root cause analysis and continuous improvement, with the support and investment of a major manufacturing operation.

If you're an engineer who enjoys fault finding, solving problems and improving machinery, this is a strong opportunity to join a site where engineering genuinely matters.
