Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multiply Tutor! We are working with an award winning organisation committed to providing high-quality educational services to learners through Apprenticeships and Employability courses. This particular role is working on the multiply contract delivering entry level Math's to adult learners ages 19+. They believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where learners can excel academically and achieve their full potential.

As a Multiply Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in mastering skills and developing a strong foundation in mathematics. You will work closely with students to identify their individual learning needs and implement tailored strategies to enhance their understanding of math's.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging lessons and instructional materials focused on mathematics, catering to students' diverse learning styles and abilities.

Assess students' current proficiency levels in math's and develop personalised learning plans to address areas of improvement.

Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students as they work through multiplication problems and exercises.

Regularly assess students' progress in mastering mathematics skills through formative assessments, quizzes, and other evaluative measures. Track students' performance and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Provide constructive feedback to students on their math's techniques, problem-solving approaches, and overall mathematical reasoning. Encourage students to reflect on their learning and set goals for improvement.

Work collaboratively with other educators and staff members to share best practices, develop interdisciplinary lesson plans, and support the overall academic growth of students.

Maintain open lines of communication with parents or guardians regarding students' progress in multiplication and areas for further development. Provide regular updates on students' achievements and challenges, and collaborate with parents to reinforce learning at home.

Integrate technology tools and resources effectively into math's lessons to enhance student engagement and comprehension. Explore innovative teaching methods and digital platforms to create interactive and dynamic learning experiences.

Qualifications and Skills:

Relevant qualification in Mathematics from Level 2 and above

Previous experience teaching mathematics or functional skills to young children or adults

Hold a teaching qualification such as a AET, PTLLS,  DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and foster a positive learning environment.

Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping students overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

Proficiency in utilising educational technology and multimedia resources to enhance instruction.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on current educational trends and best practices.
