Description:
Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Van Driver to join their client based in Sittingbourne, Kent on a Temp to Perm position.
The role entails:
Completing approximately 30 to 40 deliveries per day around Kent and surrounding areas
Some heavy lifting will be involved
Use of a PDA device
Daily vehicle safety checks
Loading/ unloading of your vehicle
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Previous multi drop experience is essential (2 Years minimum)
A full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points (minor offences only)
IT skills are required for the bespoke technology
Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge
Great communication and customer service skills
Prior to commencing this role our client requires to conduct an interview and the successful candidate will undergo a DBS check within the probationary period.
The hours of the role are Monday to Friday working between 06:00am – 6:00pm (No Bank Holiday or Weekend work)
The rate of pay for this position is £12.05 per hour + holiday pay
