Description:

A new opportunity has arisen to work for a housing provider for Multi‑Trade Operatives working in either Reactive repairs or Voids. Looking for Multi Trade Specialists on a temp‑to‑perm basis.

We are currently seeking operatives to carry out both responsive repairs and void works across the following areas:
* Bethnal Green

Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high‑quality maintenance and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties.
The role will involve travel between properties; however, work will be allocated as close to your home location as possible.

Pay Rate:
* £22.00 per hour (umbrella rate) - Temporary
* £38,000 per annum - Permanent

Duties Include
* Carrying out responsive and void repairs within social housing properties
* Completing plumbing or carpentry works along with associated multi‑trade tasks
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs in a timely manner
* Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
* Maintaining a professional and customer‑focused approach when working in occupied homes
* Using a PDA/mobile device to manage, update, and complete jobs

Multi‑Trade Skills Required
* Plumbing including repairs, installations, leak detection, and fault finding
* Bathroom and kitchen plumbing works
* Carpentry (e.g. boxing in, door adjustments, access panels)
* Tiling and basic plastering
* UPVC repairs and maintenance
* Double‑glazed unit replacement
* Inspection and rectification of defects in occupied and void properties
