Responsibilities
To carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs on numerous sites daily to single site programmed repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations.
To carry out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works ‘Right First Time’.
Must have experience in the following trades, plumbing, capentrey, painting and decorating, tiling, bricklaying, groundswork, electrical
Requirements
A trade relevant qualification (nationally recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ and ACS) or a background in 3 or more trades
Working knowledge of relevant COSHH and HSE legislation
The post-holder is required to work flexibly to support service delivery between these hours which may include changes to working times / patterns in order to deliver an effective service.
Building maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry work without supervision
Experience working in housing associations / councils
Contract
Initial 3 month contract with the opportunity to extend ]
PAYE via Umbrella
Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
