Location: Maidstone
Pay Rate: £24.53 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Initial Contract: 3 months, with a view to permanent employment following successful probation

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Voids Multi Trader to join a reputable and well-established social housing company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled multi-trade operative looking for a long-term position with a respected housing provider. The successful candidate will primarily work on void properties, carrying out repairs and preparing homes to a high standard ready for re-letting.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repair works within void properties
Complete carpentry and plumbing repairs to a high standard
Undertake basic plastering and making-good works
Carry out basic painting and decorating
Complete repairs to doors, frames, fixtures, fittings and general property elements
Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Ensure properties are left clean, safe and ready for occupation
Work to health & safety requirements and company standards
Provide a professional service to customers and colleagues
About You
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi Trader with a strong background in property maintenance, ideally within social housing or residential maintenance.
You should have:
Strong carpentry skills
Strong plumbing skills
Basic plastering experience
Basic painting and decorating skills
Previous experience working on void properties is highly desirable
Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Good communication and customer service skills
A full UK driving licence
