Day to Day duties of a Multi Trader:
Installing supports for pipes, equipment
Fixtures prior to installation
Cut openings in structure to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools
Repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending boking pipes and opening clogged drains, toilets, gutters, rainwater pipes and any other plumbing work
Undertake patch plastering works, tiling, floor laying, decorating replacing of internal and external doors
Utilise both electronic and paper-based systems to accurately record documentation including the use of materials against each job
Carpentry: Skirting, hang doors, fitting kitchens
1st/2nd fix carpentry
Doors
Reactive maintenance
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications) of a Multi Trader:
Experience in residential properties.
Good social skills
Good customer service
Asbestos awareness certificate – (We supply)
DBS check ( We supply)
Drivers License
NVQ in the trade
Multi skilled - Patch plaster, plumbing
